It is finally starting to feel like fall in Texas. We had a couple of cool days this weekend, and today I think it is maxing out at 70 degrees. However, the warm sun has made the colder days tolerable. Sunday we rented a van to move all of our belongings from the apartment to our house--however they are still in the midst of the finishing the floors, so we really couldn't be inside. As planned we had a relaxing weekend, not much to report so here are some photos.
To welcome fall, we had a cider tasting. Both our votes go to the one on the left, which is a Houston-based company
We tried out a different Texas BBQ joint, Spring Creek
We went roller-skating
Contemplating having David's 30th Birthday Party here so he can get into the Money Machine
No surprise, David dazzled me with his skating skills
They had some retro mirrors at the rink
We finally tried Frito-Pie.
